This summer, I had the opportunity to visit the 9/11 Memorial in New York City. It was a sobering experience. Below are a few scattered thoughts from that visit.
I was touched that the lines were so long. So many people still remember.
I heard different languages. It warmed my heart that people from all over the world care.
The names etched in the monument were sobering. So many names. To many names. One that caught my eye was ‘Helen Crossin Kittle and her unborn child’.
Even though it was hot and crowded, everyone was respectful and reverent. We were on sacred ground.
God bless all of the souls who lost their lives twelve years ago today.
God bless their families.
God bless America.
God bless our world.
Always remember.[nggallery id=136]
