I am a FTM and have been waiting on getting the Packabe in the Purple Paisley. But now I don't know if I should get the Packabe or the BRB!! I know none of you have seen the BRB in person, but to those who have a packabe, what is your opinion? I do like the fact that the Packabe can be worn other ways besides just a back pack. Advice, opinions? HELP!!

I only use my Packabee as a backpack, but I don't like the look of a backpack as much, so I am a packabee pusher... (as it doesn't look exactly like a backpack sitting down).

However, if you like a backpack, then, the BRB seems FANTASTIC! If I was a backpack girl, I would be all over it!

Ok, as a Packabe Pusher, I have to say, I am so in love with my Packabes. It is a super bag, very versatile, will hold a ton, and not look like it. You can wear it 3 ways, and is a more open feel.

The new BRB looks like an awesome bag too. It is a little bigger all around, but the insides are compartmentalized more. It has less room in the main open compartment, but has lots of internal organization. It also has padded straps and can only be carried like a backpack.

I think it depends on how much you carry, and what you pack, and how you usually carry your bag. Look at the pics of the Packabe on the IRL gallery. That might help in your choice!

I have thought about the bRB too, but I kind of like the open space in the Packabe. I am sure I will try one sometime!!!!

I LOVE my Packabe, in fact I had a BeAll for all of two weeks and I just sold it because the Packabe gets ALL of my love. It fits everything I could pack in my BeAll with room to spare. And I am totally not a backpack girl either, but I am now. I would buy another Packabe in a SECOND even though I already have one, it's that cool! That being said, the BRB looks as though it has more organization, but doesn't appear as roomy overall. Of course who can say, since none of us have seen it yet?

I love the packabe. I like the pics of the BRB, but I still like the packabe more. Why don't you look for a used packabe to try it out if you want to save a few bucks? Used JJB's are just as good as new ones. They are made so well, they really don't wear out at all.
Then after you tried out the packabe, maybe try out the BRB?

Thanks for all the replies, ladies!! I love the Pink Room! And I don't even have a baby yet!! This could really get dangerous! I guess I'm still leaning towards the Packabe since I don't know if I'm a backpack girl yet or not!! Little one is due mid-August. I did think about trying out a used Packabe, but after seeing the purple print, I now feel like I MUST have it! I did already get a Be Small in Black/Silver which I love! I have it packed and ready to go for the hospital! And I have a Be Quick and a Be Mine! DH thinks I'm nuts, and I know when the next bag arrives, he will probably cut me off! So, I have to make my last JJB purchase (for now) a good one!

The BRB is a totally different bag than the Packabee...

If I was looking for a BackPack I think the BRB is fantastic. I have seen the Lexie Barnes one, and the Dad Gear, I would go for the BRB out of the baby backpacks I have seen.

I agree with what the other ladies have said I think the main difference is the way you prefer to pack and what you like to pack. Since the packabe has a more open layout you can pack larger things all in the main section where as the BRB compartmentalizes everything into its own area which is super cool. Good luck on deciding and let us know what you decide upon. Oh, and welcome to the Pink Room!
