Re: Link to using hip as backpack.
Yeah, when I tried the hip that I sold you I used my wb backpack straps and they did not match at all but they worked. All you need is a set of padded backpack straps and a the short set piece strap to feed thru the crumb drains at the bottom to hook the bottom of the backpack straps to. I have the midnight eclipse strap that I was using. It is not vety noticeable since it is fed through the crumb drain. I could mail that to you if you want it. LMK

It is the midnight eclipse pattern, but not alot of it hangs out and it is kinda hidden by your back I think. I never noticed that it was a different pattern really.

Re: Link to using hip as backpack.
Oh yeah no problem at all. The short brown strap I sent with the hip, I used as a grab handle. I noticed that the shipping at ldd was cheaper than shop jjb by a couple bucks on the backpack straps, just a heads up

Re: Link to using hip as backpack.
I'm liking this idea so much I'm having Anna put swivel clips on my Mini Hip so I can use it as a back pack PB-style. Seems like the perfect addition.
Hopefully it will work, I think it will with a longer grab handle through the crumb drains. I'll post pics in the mini-hip thread when its done.

Re: Link to using hip as backpack.
Someone suggested the snaps may not be strong enough to stay closed if u make it a back pack

LuluBellesMama wrote: Someone suggested the snaps may not be strong enough to stay closed if u make it a back pack Interesting. My Mini Hip is now a backpack, PB-style. We'll have to post pics in the Mini Hip thread when it arrives. Apparently it is very light and wearable, but the Mini has less weight than a regular Hip, so that may help. I stuff my Hip pretty full and the magnet snap stays shut, so i'd be surprised if its not strong enough to stay closed as a backpack.
