I want a Be Small now.....
and I'm trying to decide if I want to get the older one (Black/Bubblegum) for a discount or the newer one, Sienna Swirls. It seems the newer one has a lot of new improvements and I don't want to be bummed if I get the older one. Does the older one have a skinnier strap? Also, does it have the D-ring (I like that feature, looks really cool)? Is the new mommy pocket much bigger? Thanks, I will now have 3 Ju Ju Be bags when I decide

Hi Mighty Bee
The differences are actually kind of small. Yes, the new one has the padded adjustable strap with the D-ring that the old one doesn't have, but the bag size, pocket configuration, and mommy pocket are all the same.......well, almost the same. The new one has a scrunchy style key fob and the old one doesn't stretch. Other than that they are basically the same.
have fun!!

I chose to go with the original style for a discount. I also got the black/bubblegum and I love it!! While I am impressed with the new improvements that have been made, I am a mommy on a budget and the $30 I saved going with the original style made up for it. I didn't feel that the new features were anything I NEEDED to have, while I do agree they would certainly be nice to have. I don't know if I helped you any, but the bag is still a FABULOUS bag and I absolutely love it! I was not disappointed when I received it. This was my second Ju-Ju-Be bag, I purchased the Be All in black/silver about 3 months ago. I plan on adding to my collection later, for Christmas perhaps? I figured I could wait until then to purchase one with the new upgrades.

Thanks for the info chosn! Since you have the BE ALL too, do you thinks the BE Small is much smaller or a little smaller than the BE ALL. I have only seen the BE ALL in person and thought it was more of a meduim size bag. I'm wondering if I should get the BE ALL instead now.

I have the Packabe and the Be small and I have to say that I LOVE the Be small because it is more of a quick trip bag that acts (and looks) more like a purse that holds diapers/bottles/snacks etc etc....I have not seen the Be all yet but have to say that if you are looking for a bag to take along for a shopping trip then the Be small is perfect. It is small enough to carry like a purse instead of having to store it in your stroller. I have two little ones (22 month boy and 10 week old girl) and it does the job perfectly for trips to costco/mall or wherever where you don't want (or need) to haul around anything larger. If you want two bags or have two bags then I think the Be small should be one of them (along with something larger of course:)
Hope this helps anyone who is trying to make a decision!

so many bags, so little time!
I have a Be Small which suits me perfectly for short trips out. If I'm going to be out all day and need more supplies, then I just switch to my packabe and I have been known to take both and then I have the choice of either putting one under my stroller and hanging the other over the handles, or leaving one of them in the car - just in case.
Now I have the added complication, having just got my beSmart, of which bag to choose each day. I have to say though that the besmart and the be small seem to fit in similar amounts of stuff - just a little more in the be smart.
My absolute fav if I really had to pick is my packabe - it's perfect and always gets all my gear really organised and packed in just right. It's such a nice size for a backpack too - I haven't used the backpack straps though, as I like to use it like a shoulder bag - its great with the padded straps and doesn't dig in at all.
I love the look of the BeAll but i'd never be able to use that too if I got one, and I don't want my packabe to feel left out!!!

Hello!
Which pattern did you end up getting in the Be Smart Emma? I went ahead and ordered the Be Small in Brown/Robin and I can't wait to get it. I'm happy to hear that it's more of a purse size, that was what I was hoping for. I also use my Packabe on my shoulder more than the backpack, I like it like that. Well, thanks girls!

I got the sienna swirls in the BeSmart and its really cool - nice soft colors and the silver/grey inside works really well with it and looks good with the add-ons. The bag is almost two different sizes because if you take the magnetic extra zip up bag out of it, you can get even more in if you need to. Or, if you load up the middle bit with diapers and wipes and don't want to take the whole bag to change the baby, you can just whip it out and carry that. I use it to keep a change of clothes in, I have the sparewear kit, and its so nice and lightweight that it keeps it streamlined in the middle of the bag.
You'll never believe this though! My sister is coming out from England to see me in a few weeks and she's seen the lush paisley be small and loves it, so i've ordered myself a brand new be small in brown/robin, (to match my Packabe), and i'm going to give her the paisley one. It's going to be painful to part with it, because I love it but I might be able to do it if I have my new one!! I hope I can be strong!
