We always let our teacher know they've been nice by making a special stocking filled with:
* an orange
* an apple (of course)
* package of pencils
* colored pens for grading
* post-it pads
* magnetic notepad (find these in the $1 section @ Target)
* motivational stickers for student papers (well done, amazing, excellent, way to go, etc.)
* thumb drive for working from home
* Ghiradelli caramel chocolate squares
* flavored packets of hot chocolate
* gift card to Target or an office supply store (teacher can pick up something they really want / need for themselves or the classroom)

The great thing: DD makes it personal by picking out the items and stuffing the stocking herself.
