Post Best bag for a single dad with a premie?!? Video UPDATE!2/28
2/28 I just wanted to thank all you wonderful ladies who helped me and answered all my questions! He loves the bag I sent And the toys an amazing pl sent. I'm still donating my breast milk since my dd won't take a bottle/sippy when I'm gone, but maybe there was a reason huh? Well anyways here is the story the news did on them today!
http://www.clipsyndicate.com/video/play ... and_father

So I have a sad story: viewtopic.php?f=207&t=164860
And was thinking of getting a good bag for them but am unsure one what a single dad would like best
A hip with the tall bottle pockets which might be good he's going to use donated brestmilk
A pb with back pack option? Might be awesome not sure what the dads out there think about these bags?
Or an all? I like it a lot but I just don't know. S
My DH has only seen a mm all and can't get Past the flowers and a cob BFF which he said the style is too girly so I need you to ask your guys what they like?!?!?! Please. I want to search eBayP/Craig's list to get a good deal since we don't havE very much extra right now.
TIA ladies!!!
Update: I decided to go with th timbuk2 and just fill it with stuff he needs!!! Hope he like it!
I got it and packed it for him and took pics with my hubby for show! And thanks to a wonderful PL (cheesatarian) and her family I was able to fill with toys!!!! Pic heavy!!!

Honestly, if I was going to get a dad a backpack right now I would get a DadGear backpack(sorry JJB!) http://www.dadgear.com/gear_main.cfm?ID=1

I have been eyeing one of these for a year almost and my guy friends all agree they look like great bags.

You can find them all the time on sale places for about $60 new.

I think that would just depend on the guy. I could see a guy appreciating a backpack over a messenger strap, especially when the child is running around a lot, but guys have lots of personal preferences just like we do

So true! Those look awesome. I like that you can put the sippy in side and unzip It from the outside. Does it keep thinks cold do you know it didn't say. I also love th wipes pop out!

Oooo, now I'm researching backpacks again  Look at the Baby Sherpa one too! It reminds me of the BRB.

The baby sherpa looks really promising IMO, if he is going to do donated breastmilk especially. Can put a bunch of bottles in the main cooler area still frozen/partially thawed and stay cooled a long time.

My hubby likes the BFF best. He said that the grab handle is what makes it his favorite. :-)

It is a great bag for major hauls - but I've had one and it was WAY too large to take everywhere, it really is more of a hiking size, and not a get on the bus with your kid size.

I love the dad gear ones. But I could see just getting a cheap hip or PB and that getting a lot of use from a dad. I have a Cinn PB that I would be willing to sell very cheap so it could do to this dad!
