Tammy, it's totally meant to be a family GTG. the park is family friendly, and besides, he can run after the kids while you talk JJB! LOL that'll give him something to do... <hee hee>

Personally, I always come alone. I get so little time to myself, it's such a treat to relax and enjoy other PL's and JJB without my little ones around...

Just double checking but I should be there with at least my little guy. Probably my DD and DH too since I'm not sure about driving in Hamilton.

I don't think so. I asked a few weeks ago and it was said there wasn't enough interest I think. Now I can't remember exactly what was said though

I'm curious too. I don't think I'd be able to make it without really inconveniencing the MIL, but if it was on for sure I would try.

If anyone's still up for a mini-GTG, I'm glad to have everyone who's interested here for a potluck/BBQ or we could just meet at a local park to play and then go out for dinner?

It has more to do with the organizer having needed to step away from the organizing and trying to pass it on. The people it got passed to didn't have much to catch and can't rebuild.
Everyone tried to pull it together but, I was part of who it was trying to be passed too and we all just couldn't keep it moving. Fulton has been awesome about it and hopes we consider it "postponed" to another date.

Anyone else who wants to take the reins and try again is welcome. This is not one the KW PL's are able to do (as much as we may have liked too )

Is it possible to postpone to August and try again? Or even in the Fall? I can step in and try to organize too! It was so much fun last year, as was the one we had in Cambridge! What if we worked with another boutique? There is one in Burlington and Hamilton near me as well. LMK!

What all is involved in y'all's get together? We had one here in Texas, JJB sent a OOAK Light and some goodie bags, and the "planning" consisted of putting together some loot bags to keep the kids busy, buying some cupcakes, and putting a table cloth on a picnic table we snagged at the park in front of the zoo. It was no harder than planning a party for your average 7 year old. Or is the bar set a lot higher in Ontario?

And just to be clear, I'm not saying that to knock anyone else for not doing it, I'm saying if that's all that's expected I am willing to step up and make it happen.

Ok ladies!!! I'm going to officially try to revive this even for July 14th. I live near the park so just waiting on confirmation from Fulton that it's still a go on their end. Will be starting a new thread for unofficial RSVP...
