I haven't heard 'positively' on that, but I think it's fairly likely ... especially after the CostCo disaster.

So - now I wonder if these new summer prints will appear on a smallerish type of "new" bag. Kelly - smiley face for yes - frowny face for no.

But... it won't be in Seaglass!

IDK (honestly) I would think it's likely (especially given the incredibly favorable response to Sea Glass), but that is only a guess.

The only thing I can see about the ^^^^ above comments is that Sea Glass is their "summer" print, they may decide to not make any *new* bag in that print? I could see them doing an EL smaller bag/purse for Fall. And something in the more fall colors as well. Since we will be heading into fall/winter when it comes out. It would depend on how well these prints sell within the next several months, IMO.

I think it's fun to have new prints coming and going! But, I do think they might consider settling into a couple of bags that will stay - the ALL, MB, new purse size/smaller bag, and a backpack. PLus the accessories. That seems really well rounded. Then they can come out with exclusive bags, or limited runs. That seems really smart, business wise (although I am no business major, nor do I know anything about manufacturing bags). But in a consumers mind, it seems like it would make their bags open to anyone, not just someone with a baby...... And it would keep people coming back. Us PL's are a different breed, and since we have the HUGE love for these bags, they would not concentrate on us, but more on the general public.

I see what you are saying. Although to me SG is alot like DD - so it would have year round appeal. CK is definitely a bright spring/summer print. I just hope they settle on a bag that is smaller. Reasons I LOVE the Hip: (For any JJB powers that be that might read this):
1). It is a bag that is GREAT for diaper bags, BUT it doesn't look it - so I can carry it for my bigger kids without feeling diaper bagish. (because for that time period, I loved my BFF). I don't find myself being tempted to sell my Hip at all. I see it as being more of a long term bag.

2). It is a GREAT GREAT GREAT price!!! And at this stage (my youngest is turning 2) it is harder to justify larger amounts of $ on a "diaper bag". (Even though I want to and am truly tempted by the all just because I want a bag in this print)

3). I love how light it is! Easy to pack up and cart around. I loved my PB but it got heavy quickly so I really only used it frequently when DS was tiny and needed everything.

So my hope is - whatever is coming down the bend - smaller (ish), affordable (so I can sneak more by DH ), and not as diaperbag looking. Oh and that it comes in SG!!!

I also think SG is good for all seasons.....and I can see any new bags being produced in the better selling prints.... so I'm hopeful we'll see new bags in SG and (fingers crossed here) Bashful too

I'd also love to see the Hip in the new fabrics, or see another smaller bag for light packers. But I can see why there isn't one...JJB has tried the Small, the Between, Light, and the Hip. If they sold well, I'm sure they'd still be manufacturing them. I have a hunch that by the time toddlers are out of diapers that most moms are just ready to go back to purses that they love instead of carrying anything larger or that even hints of diaper bag.

maybe JJB could bring out a line of 'organization bags'.....like different sized camera bags, hobby bags, make up cases,train cases, baby's room or bathroom counter organizers ......
so many of us use our JJB's for everything BUT diapers (especially the older Mom's like me )

You're probably right--which is where the Behave comes in so nicely. I mean, I have a 3.5 year old, an 19 month old & another on the way & I'm SO over the whole diaper bag thing. I'm glad I love SG, but none of the bags are calling to me. Hopefully it's just a phase and I'll be back to "stashing" soon.
