 Packing for Sea World
We will be there all day Saturday and I'm torn between taking my PPB Sashay or my PB. I need to be able to put things in w/out worrying about ruining the bag and I know there's potential for getting wet so as much as I love my Sashay...it's um delicate so I'm thinking PB w/ Quicks of needed items per kid and a Major for my stuff so I can carry that with me if I need to leave my bag for a ride or something. What do you guys recommend taking besides sun screen? My DD is almost 3 and DS is 5.

Don't leave home without a stack of wipes!! I always have wipes, especially at theme parks! Everyone is touching everything.... Besides the great items already listed, I have started keeping a few quart-size Ziplocs in a side pocket.... seems like we always have some food left from a lunch or snack and this makes it easy to take with us and eat on the go. You never know when you little one is going to find a stash of treasures to bring home either!

WIPES!!! yes. eewwww!! i am so a germaphobe and ewwww!! it is HOT here so I would bring a few ziplock bags that a small washcloths in them that are wet and then you can use them to wipe kiddos down when they get super sweaty. Know that when you enter the park that they do go through your bag and some of the "gaurds" get snippy and won't let you bring in food or water. if they are feeling saucy or really cool! bah! but i always bring them anyway. Don't bring large amounts cause they will take them away. Hats, sunnies, small snacks, wipes and waters and wet cloths is what I take with me when i only take the big kids. I sometimes just take big kids and leave James with Daddy cause 103 is just too hot for little guys!! call me if you need me

I never thought they wouldn't let you bring your own food/drinks. I hope they don't give me a hard time because I planned to keep the cost down by doing that. I would rather use the money to see a show than buy their overpriced water. I imagine they won't say anything if I pack the water in the kids canteens or am I wishful thinking?

Keep the water on the bottom of the bag and you should be fine. I act like I have nothing to hide I usually chase a kid while they are looking in the bag so I look distracted enough

 Re: Packing for Sea World
If you are planning on bringing a stroller I would bring a beach towel and stuff it underneath just in case!

 Re: Packing for Sea World
Even if you think you can only swing small water bottles, you can always refill them at water fountains as much as you want.

 Re: Packing for Sea World
I went with a 2 and 4 yr old. I had a quick with potty seat, wipes and extra diapers (the 2yr old is potty trained but I didnt trust her at the parks). A change of clothes for the 2yr old. We didnt need sunscreen because it was overcast and rainy but otherwise I would have had that. I just threw a tote bag from target in the bottom of the stroller with that stuff and carried a Kipling Alvar (10x13in cross body) for my personal stuff. I don't like to go crazy packing, there is no way I would have filled a PB.
