I have staying out of the PR because I get so tempted but I just happen to see on Facebook that it was reveal time so of course I was curious. I have been searching for a NON- JJB backpack. I have never been a backpack girl so I wanted something less expensive to try it out. Well, of course they have to release a totally awesome backpack and now I can't stop thinking about it! I tried to keep looking for "other" backpacks but nothing compares to JJB features on a bag! I have 6 under the age of 8 including 1 year old twins. Tried the BP and loved it but it was so heavy, now I am carrying an All which is ok but everytime we go out I think "I really need a backpack"!

HELP! Talk me out of it! Tell me to get a cheap backpack!

I have a cheap Lush PB I am thinking of selling. It is in good used condition. You could get backpack straps for it, to try it out, at a lesser cost, if you want. (or just use the straps in backpack mode.....)
Otherwise, the new BRB is supposed to be much lighter!!!!! So you may enjoy that..........
And yea, probably not going to get many of us to talk you OUT of getting more JJB!!!!!! <3

Wish I could help you, I am already torn between a sea glass bff and a stargyle brb. I was for sure on the bff before but now I think I might go with the stargyle because my husband would probably have an easier go of carrying something that isn't my purple spicy. Plus, when #2 arrives in February, with the ability to open up the new brb all the way, I think it'll make a TERRIFIC hospital bag...and you can't beat that it's $25 cheaper!

Honestly.
Break the new BRB down and see what features it has you can get in other bags and what only the BRB has that you can't get anywhere else. Will you use the features that only the BRB offers?

For me, the BRB isn't the right bag as much as I WANT it to be, and trust me, I was so hoping it would be THE bag for me. It is set up weird and I hate that zippered mesh pocket...I would NEVER use it.

I am getting a Kipling instead.
