Hi all,

Warning- a rant follows.

I posted yesterday about there being a problem with my JJB order, with the Uk distributor (Jelly Bean Group) saying I had to wait another 25 days for my bags, even though I'm reliably informed from a different source that a shipment was due in in 2 days time. In the end, I decided to go with www.thatcuteage.com as they were cheaper and I thought they could get me black and silver Be Spicy quicker. The head manager said an order was due in 2 days time.

Well, today- the first day I have worked since September, a black and silver Be spicy went on www.thatcuteage.co.uk and was sold, while i was at work, even though I had been in contact with the shop manager and she knew the bag I wanted.

The Uk distributor also has one on her site today (For £20 more- about 40 dollars more). So why did she tell me I couldnt have one?

I've had enough of this. I've been wanting a bag for 2 months and have been waiting for a month, but events are conspiring against me once more.

I am so gutted. I dont want to go with the UK distributor as it appears she possibly hasn't been totally honest with me and I don't want to pay £20 more. But I am confused at to why thatcuteage hasn't notified me that the bag I wanted was in stock.

I think I'm destined not to get my bag.

All I want is to buy the bag in the colour I want. Why does it have to be so frustrating?

Sally

Sorry for letting off steam. I'm just so gutted. I can't believe buying a bag could be so difficult.

Sally - I feel so bad. Maybe you can order from a US seller, or would the shipping be too high? Hopefully Rachelle might have some input on your dilemma. I hope you get your Be Spicy soon!

Thanks for your support. Unfortunately the shipping charges are too high, plus the UK charges import duty on orders over about $38 inc. postage! Then the Post office adds on a handling charge, thus sometimes doubling the cost of the bag!

Anyway there's a light at the end of my tunnel, the boss of www.thatcuteage.co.uk has just emailed me and said that there will definitely be the bag I want arriving on March 10th. It's a long wait, but at least I know I'll have one.

I hate to think how long it'll be before I can get the Between and groovy garden print!

I feel much happier knowing I will definitely eventually get my bag, but still frustrated that it's taking so long and has turned out to be so confusing.

Sorry again for the rant,

Sally

Do you have any US friends on a US military base? If you do, you could order from a US distributer and have it sent to the friend on the base.

Hi Tina,

Dorset is about 5 hours away from Leeds, but weirdly enough, Leeds in close to where I'll be driving to this morning! We're driving to visit my dad, and then on further north to see my sister and mum as it's my mum's 60th birthday and my niece's first birthday!

Hi Heather,
The pink lady- (Taz) who gave such fab advice is totally brilliant. If she lived closer I'd drive round and give her a big sticky donut!
