I feel guilty even putting up this post, but I am not loving the perky, although I do think the packabe style would be workable for me. I am REALLY sad, I thought I would love the perky IRL...but it is just not me ! I am considering the purple packabe....anyone have one they could email me pics of????

Well that's a bummer! I have a Be Quick on order in Perky to see if I will like it. The only thing I have pictures on in Purple is the BRB so that probably won't help you.

Thanks Katrina! I actually just looked at your pics...I do love the BRB, I am just trying to decide if it'll work for my needs or would the packabe be better! I have 2 older ones but still need space...I am actually, after seeing the pics, leaning towards the BRB. I am going to think on it for a bit and see. I'd love some opinions on the BRB and packabe...

I have a Packabe in Citrus - and am madly in love with it! I actually got the Citrus as a 2nd choice, but now I'm glad I did.

Sometimes I fill my bag up, and sometimes I have tons of empty space leftover. It just suits me perfectly, though. I've taken it everywhere! To the mall, playground, beach, rivers, woods, camping, Grandma's house. I really love having 2 sippy pockets, that are easy to get to. I love having them on the outside! I haven't really looked at the BRB, so I don't know how they compare. I just love how much I can fit in my Packabe & I know even after the kids are older I'll still be using it.

I think if you have older kids and are carrying things like snacks and sippy cups that you want quick access to, the BRB is better. I think the Packabe is better if you carry a few changes of clothes and stuff with you. It just depends on your needs. I actually have my BRB up on the FS board because the purple just isn't me. I might order a new one though in Brown/Bubblegum. It's a really neat bag and I keep thinking I don't need it now with Lauren still being a little baby but soon she will be needing me to carry jars of baby food and snacks and I think "Man, I need a BRB". I forget that she won't always be a spitting up infant.

You know, I love the perky in smaller things (BeMine, BeQuicks), but I didn't love it in the packabe either. I just sold my perky BeSmall and it was ok, but I wasn't over the moon for it, and I am TOTALLY a pink/purple girl! I think you would LOVE the purple, it is seriously gorgeous. I love it more and more each day. I believe Heather (fluffypeanut) posted pics of her purple packabe in the gallery.

Yep, I agree with Julie, the perky really isnt for me either, although it is pretty for some.

I am in love with the purple as well!!! I love my Packabe in purple, although I have been on a BeSpciy/BePrepared jaunt lately. I love em all!!!! The purple is really very versatile!!!!!! Go for it!

Thanks Brenda! I checked out all the pics on the photo gallery. I am thinking BRB because I could put 2 be quicks with extra outfits (I always choose stuff thats not bulky since my kids are bigger and jeans would be a pain) plus my mess shuttle in the bottom, since I don't need that stuff too often. The mommy pocket and camera ipod pockets are obvious. The slash pocket would be great for my wipes (yes, I still carry wipes!). And the main pocket for snacks, toys, books or whatever I needed! I am trying to figure out a use for the elastic straps for the diapers in the main comparment. Any ideas??? I am going to wait for any decisions until my be quicks arrive tommorow and I can get a good look at the purple.

I like Perky overall but it is not a pattern I could use in a larger bag. I just got a Perky Be Mine and as cute as it is, I was already planning to give it as a gift. I just can't see myself with it. Don't feel bad at all! That's why JJB has so many different patterns - some you will love and some others not so much but you will find something that appeals to you.

My first packabe was in Lush Paisley and while other ladies in the Pink Room raved about it, I didn't fall instantly in love with it. Great pattern with beautiful colors, but just not me and I couldn't picture myself carrying it so I switched. You just don't know these things until you see it IRL.

I think the Purple packabe would be a great choice - very attractive bag.

Alexis, I'm so sorry u didn't like the Perky! I just recently came to love it which I never ever would have thought I could! Still its not for everyone. Return it & get something u totally love!!

Heather (ready4baby), are you not "speaking" to me now? I hated getting on here and writing that after your excitement!!! I was telling DH about this thread and mentioned I hoped you wouldn't be "mad" ! He just looked at me for a second and said, "This is a cyber-friend, right? And she lives in California? Well, that's far enough, there won't be any crazies stalking you to hit you with a perky bag, like a perky patrol or something!" He thinks he's so funny! I will definately be keeping my perky Be Quick at least - the pattern IS pretty, just a lot for me on a big bag!
