Fair price for set from warehouse sale?
I am a newer pl and don't want to leave a sour taste any anyone's mouth I would love to sell the dd set I got at the warehouse sale I already have a set of my own I paid $15 for it at the salbut I also woke up at 3am and drove almost 700 miles I would love to make a little profit on it I realize now listing on eBay for 60 was the wrong thing to do I will try to either. Remove the listing or edit it Would it be reasonable to ask maybe $35 for it? Not actually trying to sell on this post, just get pl feedback

Really, you can sell it for whatever you want, just disclose everything. Which you have done.
I would say $15 + shipping + pp fees + an amount for the gas for driving 600 miles.

Re: Fair price for set from warehouse sale?
I would list it on eBay with a lower starting price adding on some for your time/expense and DISCLOSURE is the key. As long as you state that you got it from the warehouse sale and show pics of the stamps, let people bid away! Or you could try to trade through Facebook or you could hold onto it until you meet requirements to trade in PR and get something else

It's an open market economy I understand your reasoning......the good thing about open market is that the market will tell you if you're priced right. Disclose it's from the sale....put your price up and see if it sells. If not, take it to eBay and see what you get there..

Re: Fair price for set from warehouse sale?
Hmn, my thoughts on this is just to keep it on eBay and let the buyer dictate the price. You can do whatever you want with your stuff, they are yours, but in the past it has been frowned upon to make a huge profit on something you got on sale here in the PR. A few years ago, the PR was the place to get the best deals but in the last year it has become the opposite and has caused a huge divide between PLs. Lately though, with the economy in the state that it's in, people are looking for the best deals that they can and shunning the profiteers.
I think the best thing to do is to start at $15, the price you got it for, and let the bidders place their bids. You will likely turn a profit on it that way and the PLs are not feeling deceived. If you want to figure out a BIN price, put in the $15, PP fees, ebay fees, and a portion of the gas money spent on that second day when you got the BeSet. (I say portion because obviously it was not the only item you got on that day and it's unfair for the DD BeSet buyer to shoulder all the gas expense when you got other stuff).
P.S. The Purple Paisley BeSet will always be an exception because the rollers for the Paisley print have been destroyed. They will never be made again. The Drip Drop rollers are still available (as far as I know) to make DD, Sangria, or any other recolor they choose to do in the future.

For me personally, as long as it's on eBay whatever you feel comfortable with and market will dictate that price.

Re: Fair price for set from warehouse sale?
I kinda think you just sold yourself short. I would have started at your cost (including pp, taxes and shipping fees, so more than $15) and let the market decide. For $30 you're just barely covering your expenses, and the fact that it sold that quickly suggests that you may have under-priced it.

I would love it if they made a sangria set! yummy! But $60 for the 1st and 2nd run for the DD set seems to be the norm here in the pink room. But even though the rollers for the purple paisley has been destroyed.. $200+ for the set is much too rediculous! that's more than what the purple BP's are selling for! once they go up that high, the buyer must be serious about keeping it forever, since selling it at that price again is going to be hard. It seems like it is just a collectors item now..at that price it would stay tucked in my closet! not sure who would actually want to use a $200 bag set good luck! I think that is a fabuous deal!
